One Week to School

I'm back from camp! Updates when the pictures are out.

___________

Time files when you're having fun, or in my case, when you're nua'ing at home. One more week before school reopens and I'm sure this week and past me by even quicker.

One more week before the onslaught of notes, tutorials and 'huh, i dun understand' lectures.

Anyway I saw this strange woman on the train today. She was dressed in black blouse, long pants and jacket. The train wasn't crowded at all, but she choose to stand very closely beside a man. It can be seen that the man is rather uncomfortable about that and he tried to move away from her, but the woman kept 'sticking' to her.

Then it occurred to me, she's the same woman that sat beside me at the Jurong East station and kicked my leg when I shaked it. I thought that was done intentionally, but after what I saw today, I think she has a loose screw in her head.

Keep a look out for her while traveling on the train!

Hands up if you're sick of durians. Since there is a good harvest this year, there has been an endless supply of durians in my house as they get restocked once a batch is finished.

Like they say, it's really too much of a good thing. Plus I can't eat them with my bad throat.

Something is keeping me awake.

What I've Watched: The Dark Knight

I wonder why most movie's final poster is so damn ugly. I mean compare this:

With the teaser posters:

and this:

Three years after the reboot of the Batman movie franchise with Batman Begins, the caped crusader returns with the Dark Knight. But does it lived up to the hype?

It sure doesn't disappoint.

Sure, the Joker steals the whole show easily but the real story is about the rise (and fall) of Harvey Dent, who is turned from Gotham's District Attorney to Two Face.

If you can only watch one movie this month, watch this.

___________

Saw this trailer for the Watchmen.

Very cool. They're showing scenes from the book itself. Let's hope that they don't screw this up.

___________

Camp is in two day's time. Can't wait. I still can't get over the fact we still have to give out the convo booklets on the actual camp week.

Being a pessimist, I forsee that free time for programmers will be spent giving out convo booklets instead of having fun. I don't sign for this, prove me wrong =/

Danny still jogs and lost a kilogram.

How to sleep?

Maybe it's because I'm trying to nap in the afternoon.

Malay wedding at the void deck, kind neighbour trying to share their teochew opera by blasting it on their stereo and my dear sister repeating the same old Blue song over and over again.

How to sleep?

14 Days

I think I have to kick myself for not remembering the prerequisite of clearing the evaluation test before the actual theory test.

I still feel that the evaluation test is a 'money cheating' idea by the school, so that they will milk more money out of those going for a license. It is also to inflate the school's passing rate, something like not allowing students to take their A and O Levels if their prelim results can't make the grade.

Now I gonna wait for another month =/
