Bad Reputation

When doing group projects, I guess there bound to be thoughts of whether can one work well together as a team.

What if that a certain someone carries a bad reputation? Maybe that person is known to talk a lot but when it comes to crunch time, he can't walk the talk. Or maybe she's known to be someone of questionable morals. Are you able to work with them if you had known of such thing?

Definitely, it will somehow affect me when it comes to dealing to them, but is it really fair to judge one's working ability when he/she has a bad reputation that isn't related to the work he/she does?

Anyone faced such a thing before? How did you manage it?

___________

Joel treated lunch when we met up for a meeting to discuss about the whole Business Manager thingy. The boss and Valeria did most of the talking and I did most of the eating (haha). I guess it's because I'm totally new when it comes to this Business Manager thingy and I still trying to feel my way around, while Valerie seems to be a 'lao bird' at these kind of things.

The boss picked Sakae Sushi. Luckily, the place is crowded and I immediately suggested Ichiban Boshi at the Esplanade, which serves Japanese cuisine that's so much better than Sakae. I mean if the Donburis in restaurants taste almost the same as the one at Canteen A, the place really must be not up to standard. Anyway, it's a treat from the boss and it's up to him to decide where to have lunch.

Anyway when returning to the MRT station, there was like a human jam at Citylink Mall due to the millions of people going to Suntec City for COMEX (Click picture for source). I mean how will you have the mood to hunt for bargains when you're being squeezed from all directions. And if Citylink Mall was that bad, I can't imagine how bad the situation is at COMEX. Citylink Mall was so packed that they had opened one of the emergency exits that behind BreadTalk so that people can get out of the place and walk to Suntec City without using the underpasses of Citylink Mall.
