Random Thoughts
You know sometimes people say that they look for a certain qualities in their ideal partners, like domesticated, have same hobbies, doesn't have bad habits that they cannot tolerate or a personality that suits them.
Honestly, when people starts talking about these qualities, I feel that they are thinking that those are 'good to have' rather than 'must have'.
Let's take a look at the following situation:
Mr A looks for girls that is gentle, has long hair, sporty and have a bubbly personality. But what happens if that the girl fits the above qualities but
look like this? I doubt that Mr A will be attracted to her in the first place.
I can continue to give examples of Mr B and Mr C, but I doubt that anyone will like to have their dinners puked onto their keyboards.
Personally, I think that it is 'lust at first sight' as humans are after all animals too. Looks always come first, the rest will then come later. Ever have the following scenario where you have your eyes transfixed on a certain person (other than the lecturer, you muggers!) and somehow or another they will suddenly fit into your ideal partner qualities checklist?
For those that are curious, I'm not writing this down because I got rejected or something. I'm actually giving some insight into how I think and why sometimes act in a certain manner.

Some links that I find interesting while rotting at home for the past few days:
5 Psychological Experiments That Prove Humanity is Doomed
"Psychologists know you have to be careful when you go poking around the human mind because you're never sure what you'll find there. A number of psychological experiments over the years have yielded terrifying conclusions about the subjects.
Oh, we're not talking about the occasional psychopath who turns up. No, we're talking about you. The experiments speak for themselves: "
Keyboards 'dirtier than a toilet'
"Some computer keyboards harbour more harmful bacteria than a toilet seat, research has suggested."

So what I've been up to these days. I'm actually stuck on my arse playing computer games that I'm so deprived of during the school sem (yeah, I'm such a nerd). I'm currently stuck onto this game that I had chanced upon when I like secondary 1 and once more during my army days - X-COM: UFO Defense. Graphically speaking, this game isn't are shiny when realistic ragdoll physics that is normal for games these days. Nope, this game is F-U-N if you look through the rather aged graphics.

Must see movie for the month? Definitely IRON MAN!
This movie exceeded my expectations. The character development is good, Robert Downey Jr. IS Tony Stark, it's like the role is made for him and he wasn't really acting. And the script is written in a way that it doesn't alienate those that don't read comic books and at the same time don't ignore those who reads them.
Do remember to stay on after the credits, those who reads the Ultimate line of marvel books will surely be grinning like a Cheshire Cat. =D Samuel L. Jackson appears as Nick Fury =D
