Galer Outing: 13 Jan 08

Met up with my OG mates for some games at Mind Cafe and dinner before the madness of tutorials begin. Consisting of the 'usual suspects' and Curtiz, I have to say the attendance is a bit disappointing. But then again 6 is a good number for games.

We headed down to the Mind Cafe at Bugis, which is hidden away in the shop houses near the National Library. I guess its new, which explains the lack of people after 6pm. I have to say that Taboo is the game that got me interested and I don't really like reflexes games cause mine sucks.

In the game of Taboo, I've learnt of the following:

- Victor really have some unorthodox methods of describing words. For the word 'Medical', he described the process at CMPB, which includes the 'take off your pants routine'.

- And I think he had watched too much 'Evan Almighty' when he implied that every morning that his beard is long and requires shaving.

- I don't know why the girls think that guys having "something long in the morning" is funny. Oh by the way, Victor's describing his 'Evan Almighty' beard! Unless you mean that thing...

- Somehow Curtiz really likes wearing suits too.

- Seng Kiat is some hardcore gangster. 369 is a gang code number?

We headed down to have steamboat for dinner. We had it at the second story which is air-conditioned which made everything on us smells like the steamboat itself after the dinner.

After which we had some coffee at the TCC branch in Bugis Junction. The whole place is pretty done up nicely, complete with mini chandeliers.

Why only five drinks? Oh Victor didn't ordered any and drank plain water. Note the distinct layers in the latte? You don't see that at the usual Coffee Bean branches.

Another gathering soon? I do hope so. Maybe during my birthday *hint* *hint*
