AJC 15/03 - Mind Cafe Outing
Kah Hui organised a 15/03 gathering which was held at Mind Cafe at Prinsep St. Janice, ZhiQi, WenChuan, Tien Soon, Kian Huat (he goes by Kevin in NTU), Kah Hui and I showed up. We are supposed to meet in Plaza Singapore at 6:30pm but I was late due to the horrible traffic jam which stretched from the junction at the Istana to all the way to Paragon. A usual 40 min trip to town turned to a journey that is almost 2 hours. What's worse is that I've got a bunch of ang moh teens annoying the hell out of everyone in the bus by running and jumping around the bus.
Finally reached the Mind Cafe after 2 hours and 15 minutes of travelling. Note to self, take the train to town in the evenings.
I'll let the pictures do the talking:
"Shiver me timbers!" Kah Hui and Wenchuan nailed the right pirate expression while the rest tried their best.
Wenchuan and I trying to sort out the rules to one of the games...
While Tien Soon looks at the (rather ragged) rules.
After a few minutes and consultation with the staff...
WC: "Mien Gott! You're right, Danny! I hold my head in shame!"
Meanwhile, the rest began to camwhore...
Kah Hui's face getting numb after smiling for tons of photos.
Janice and Zhiqi attempts to move as far away from the camera as possible (so that their face will look smaller).
Kian Huat does his best Steven Lim expression!
Tien Soon avoiding the toppling of the Jenga Stack
The rest of us stayed away from the table as far as possible, knowing how clumsy uncoordinated Tien Soon sometimes is.
4D anyone?
Somehow the positioning of Kian Huat's head and Kah Hui's pose makes the picture looks very wrong.
Kian Huat trying to block Kah Hui, guessed it worked.
Everybody just love to kick Kian Huat.
That's all for my coverage of our mini 15/03 outing. Hope that many more could make it for the next. For a more in-depth coverage of the outing go to Kian Huat's blog.
